Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs is one of the most interesting people.
I read his biography a couple of years ago and I was stunned by the man’s history. I was sitting on the beach in Portugal when I finished the last chapter and I thought to myself – “No, I will never again underestimate a teenager that does not look like he will make it.”
Steve Jobs clearly showed me the opposite.

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust, that the dots somehow connect in the future. You have to trust in something, your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. Because believing that the dots connect later down the read will give you the confidence to follow your heart even when it leads you off the well known path – and that will make all the difference.” Steve Jobs

I came across this video and I thought, I need to share this.
Take 15 minutes and watch this clip. You will see what I mean.

Stay hungry, stay foolish!

On August 24th 2011: Apple CEO Steve Jobs has resigned and will be replaced by former Chief Operating Officer Tim Cook. Jobs will stay on as Apple’s chairman.

On October 5th 2011: Steve Jobs died (1955-2011)
Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has an amazing human being.
Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built,
and his spirit will forever be the foundation of apple.

What are your thoughts on the life of Steve?

I also love some of the principles of Steve Jobs:

Mainly the first principle: Do what you love! (“People with passion can change the world for the better” he said)
